I realised that my link to Graham Phillips’ website was out of date so I updated it in the Web Links section. As I was doing this I quickly browsed Graham’s site to see what was new. The web site was almost as I remembered it (not much new content) but I suddenly realised that any mention of psychic questing appeared to have been removed.

Intrigued, I scoured his site for any reference at all but he is clearly now billing himself as “historical detective” and even the links to “The Green Stone” and “The Eye of Fire” have gone.

I find this curious. Even from a commercial point of view I wouldn’t have thought the old references would hurt (quite the opposite in fact – my view is that we will see major, mainstream interest in psychic questing very soon) but maybe his Canadian producers insisted he disassociate himself from questing.

While I totally respect the wishes of anyone to move on from their past, it does seem a little calculatingly revisionist to erase it so completely.

    Am I being harsh?

No, I’m curious as to the removal too.
I heard Andy and he had fallen out some time ago at the same time the Green Stone went up for sale. Maybe he took this to be a sign that his involvement in that side of his life had finished and wanted to move onto his historical work?
I am curious what’s happened to Graham.
I long gave up on his site after enthusiastically signing up for his MSG Group with the hope to discuss/ask questions about questing and the Green Stone as well as his other historical work. There’s been no input by him for a long while.
I find his historical detective books interesting and readable, but don’t always like the huge jumps in logic he occasionally does. That’s why I like Andy’s material much more. It tends to be backed up more with solid research.
Graham’s research seems also to be slightly less accepted than Andy’s. That’s just my observation. The programme on The Grail with Tony Robinson seemed to really take the mick out of his research.

    Was Graham at the PQC?

    Hi guys

Not knowing him personally I could only hazard a guess that maybe he felt the time is right to move on from some things. Perhaps its just a matter of a change needed.

I know from a personal point of view that I have moved away from certain people/projects for this reason…nothing to do with them just my view/opinion of them have changed and I want to do something different now.

    Regards

Well I personally am a big fan of Graham’s work and feel that sometimes one has to have leaps of faith, it is not all about academia and being in ones head. The heart for me is just as valid, which is why I find the opposite, finding Graham’s work both easier to read and relate to. Each to their own I guess. I haven’t heard anything of him for a while though either.
