I’m not sure how most people know that there is something new on the website but with updates being wildly unpredictable (sometimes there’s no news for weeks, sometimes there’s five forum posts in a day) I would have thought that physically checking back is not very efficient.
I’m also worried that the email notifications aren’t working in the forums and will check this out as soon as I can.
In the meantime, therefore, my strong recommendation is to download and set up a feed reader of some kind. If you haven’t used this technology before you will find it invaluable not just for this site but for the web in general.
The best free reader that I’ve found is Omea Reader: [url:1nck2db0]http://www.jetbrains.com/omea/reader/[/url] and when I subscribe to both the main website and the forums it means that I get (almost) instant notification when anything new is posted.
