Adam McLean carries on his incredible work at the Alchemy Website. Apart from a whole new site devoted to Tarot cards (http://www.alchemywebsite.com/tarot/tarot_decks.html) he is also starting a new course on alchemical emblems. This whole site is well worth a detailed look.

I haven’t come across writer and researcher Andy Gough before and know little about him (although his site looks good and his blog reads well) but he has details on his website of an Ancient World Tours (AWT) tour called "The Real Da Vince Code: An AWT Grail Quest". BC Recordings, in association with The Gnosis Archive, have made a number of Stephan Hoeller’s lectures available for free download here – http://www.bcrecordings.net/store/index.php?main_page=page_4.

These include meditations on such topical issues as The Gospel of Judas and his take on Da Vinci Code. He is an engaging speaker and these short lectures are well worthwhile if you have any interest in the Gnostic viewpoint. Indeed his talk on The Da Vinci Code serves as an excellent and often hilarious introduction to The Priory of Sion and all the subsequent works that owe a debt to these pranksters. However, while Dr Hoeller holds these up for ridicule, I couldn’t help thinking that the first people to suggest that Jesus survived the crucifixion were the Gnostics themselves.

During the course of my research into Novelty Theory (for the relevance of this keep reading!), I came across mention of a software program called "Fractal Time" written by Peter Meyer of Hermetic Systems. This allows you to graph the level of Novelty through any particular date range. Peter has kindly made this software publicly available again on Hermetic Systems’ website http://www.hermetic.ch/frt/frt.htm and, if you are interested in Terence McKenna or the Theory of Novelty, it is an essential resource. The Peninsula Arts School is putting on a series of free lectures at the University of Plymouth entitled "Alchemy: the Art and Science of Transformation". The lectures are every Tuesday evening at 6.30pm in the Plymouth Lecture Theatre in the Portland Square Building on the plymouth campus of the university, from 7 February to 4 April.
