I was crawling around the floor on all fours the other evening pretending to be a horse with my 3 year old son on my back (he’s going through a serious “knight phase” at the moment). As I “rode” past the sofa my 2 year old daughter also jumped on. I thought that my son would object (he hasn’t got the sharing thing down yet) but instead he piped up: “Now we’re like Templars, Daddy.”

I don’t recall ever mentioning this fact in his hearing but I guess I must already be passing down my obsessions. Scary!
