If that's the Green Stone documentary that I've seen then Mr C didn't have anything to do with that one.� It was done by Phillips, Keatman, et al, but without any involvement from Andy Collins.� To avoid breaking copyright laws you'd need to get permission from Phillips and Keatman I expect, maybe others.

Sorry for finding this late. I have been rather busy lately and don't often check this site as often as I used to.

�

The artefact was a home-made pendulum made from a lead fishing weight on string. I happen to also have a photo of the stone from Gaynor which she kindly offered to sign and threw in with the pendulum. I still have it.

Now the Green Stone documentary. I do have a dvd backup copy of it which you've just reminded me about, thanks. It's been awhile since I viewed it, but it's definately worth seeing and a real rarity.

Give me a chance to locate it and we can go from there. I might even post it on you tube, but it's getting the time.

Hello Baruc,

I went and had a great time, and yes the weather was fantastic.� The first day was Andy talking about what you can achieve through psychic questing referring to his own work.� The second day was about the practical side of you go about it.

So on the first day was the 30th Anniversary Green Stone presentation, as it is 30 years this October since the original Green Stone quest.� This was followed by two further presentations about how more recently Andy has been going back to some of the threads of the 1979 quest and discovering a mass of interesting stuff.� The afternoon was taken up by talks about questing in Egypt relating to the discovery of the Giza caves.� All really interesting.� Too much to go into here I'm afraid.

The second day had advice that I believe recaptitulated some of the material from last year's Weekender as well as the artificact retrieval fun and games.� I have to admit to doing exceptionally badly at this! Having initially got a strong image of a stone and a clear idea of which quadrant of Avebury it was located in, I managed to find 'my' stone.� However, it turned out that I was in the wrong quadrant.� I also got completeley wrong the nature of the artifact - I kept getting the impression of something like a ice-cream stick with different colours on each side, whereas it was a small bronze horse thing.� Oh well.� All of us who got the wrong quadrant did get a second chance to locate the correct stone in the right quadrant.� While standing I heard a metallic clink from somewhere behind me.� Alas, when it came to facing the stone I thought it was from I was somewhat out.� Obviously need to work on my latent psychic thingumy!

The weekend ended with a walk up Waden Hill, overlooking Silbury Hill.� A meditation was done there, but I had to leave before the med.� However, I went away with a golden glow.

The site is a bit like the undead - no pulse but it keeps on staggering forward!� Seriously though there's quite a bit of activity going on in the Questing world at the moment but due to its nature it tends to revolve around small groups�following particular threads.� We need to somehow get people posting about their current Quests/research so that the wider audience gets to hear what's going on.

St Nectan's Glen - Orb Photos

Well (ha! :? ) got my photos and got me some orbs. I used a bog-standard kodak disposable camera; and as you can see from the first pic (orb above path) the photos started quite clear and bright.� but the photos quickly start to get grey and grainy; here is a pic of some of the stones with names scratched upon them,� and of many ribbons hung to trees,� But here are the orbs! by now the camera had decided that it should be dark (and it wasnt it was actually quite bright and sunny) At first I thought that this could be rain drobs but it wasnt raining and drops should be pear shaped not round. It could be spray from the waterfall but there was none as I sat here for over an hour drawing and my paper remained completely dry... also, you can see a definite 'S' shaped spiral formed by the orbs and neither rain nor spray can do that can it? It was at this location that I felt a strong feminine Elen/Bride type goddess presence.�� NOTE; If any of these pictures dont come up for you it'll be because of my narrow bandwidth on my homepage, so come back again later

ST NECTAN'S GLEN

�I just got back from a quick trip to Cornwall and drew this amazing waterfall; located at the top of Rocky Valley near Tintagel, this is the waterfall of 'St Nectan's Glen'. (If you cant see the image it's because I'm having overloaded bandwidth problems on my homepage (please come back later to view) If you can see the picture then quick! cut n paste it incase it disappears! 8O ) I am aware of the legends of the 6th century saint, but having been there the place feels VERY feminine (the saint is a bloke). Of course you can easily google for St Nectans Glen... but before you do, I was curious to see if, from just looking at this drawing (I started it on location, sat there for over an hour getting a wet arse, before finishing it later) what, if any impressions it gives you? Please dont see this as a test, I'm just curious to see what people 'get' from the picture before 'knowing' about the site... there are no right or wrong impressions... I'll leave it a week or so then I'll type up all I know about Saint Nectan onto the Psychic Questing Encyclopedia. Cheers Yuri.

It struck me that it looks like the knife is reflecting a man stood in a doorway. Which reminded me a painting I had made before I found the stone. I have superimposed the knife onto the pic to show where it matches. http://files.myopera.com/Albie/albums/680356/sten.jpg The side of the door is the red beard of the man on the other side of the stone. The darkness seems to be a figure stood next to him. As on the dish. The man in the painting; his red hand is the same shape as a blank side of the stone. The stone, in my eyes, is the shape of a shoe, if you rest it on the base shaped like a knife. Walking on knives? As soon as I saw the plans for the bulding I knew it was the stone. When the stone is that way up there is a shark image shown. The Deep has sharks.

Hi Albie, Heads abound! With the Templar heads, I incline towards the theory that if they genuininely had heads they probably thought of them as "relics of power" - arguably like John the Baptist's head in the Gospels. The Robin Hood link is interesting as Robin Hood, at least in part, is surely a representation of the Green Man archetype. This connects both the theme of wounded king/wounded land (as found in some version of the Grail story and many Celtic myths before that) as well as the sleeping king/waiting to awaken and heal the land (as in the stories of King Arthur) with severed head themes (as in the story of Gawain and the Green Knight). Come to think of it, my dream of Robin Hood involved him being beheaded. But then the dream was mad because he was beheaded by a car crushing his head. He had this horrible stump for a head afterwards, then he was buried in a pod in the side of a hill to be woken later. Did they have cars and gestating pods back then?:) In the dream, I was shown an image of the black mill in Beverley, which was the same shape as Robin's neck stump. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/259143 The mill isn't that old though. maybe two hundred years.

I see. But there's no reference saying it's a head for sure? There are many heads like this. There's another you'll probably know about, in a pub in Hull with the same "don't move the skull or the ghosts will get you" myth attached. Is there anymore reason why you suspect this skull? Skulls have been turning up in my head recently. I write horror fiction for a lark and am always fishing around in the ether for images. I found one: a skull sat in a tree. A few days after thinking of it, I saw some lad who had their football stuck in a tree. The ball was grey and blotchy like a skull. :) There's a skull in my stone, if you twist it. Didn't Bran the Blessed's head survive death?

The other side of it looks like a face (don't they always?) But anyway, some time after I found it a sculpture was put up in the marina of Hull that looked just like it. It is a large head. I should get more pics of it. Also, the new submarium is the same shape as the stone. And the stone contains the image of a shark. There's more. But I need more time to get it down. Oooh, I'm, questing. When do I go up against the black alchemist? :twisted: I should add that I dreamt about the stone before I found it and drew images in it. It is full of images. Some that seemed to stem from my childhood. But then vagueness is so suggestive.

Apropos of not much really but fitting in with the Weird Hull vibe, I had a bit of a Research Quest that ultimately didn't trigger any psychic corroboration. I began to suspect that the legendary 4th Templar Head had been taken across the Humber and hidden. Weird. Or a reminder that reality naturally forms networks. I recall, sometime ago, on The James Whale Tv Show that a group of psychics claimed that there was a psychic shield around Hull. They didn't know why. A few years later another psychic group from Scotland claimed they had uncovered that the Humber was the location of King Arthur's death place. Maybe they meant Arthur Lucan?:) Or maybe Lucan's death was an echo? A few other things, just to throw in: I had a dream as a child that Robin Hood was connected to the area of Hull and Beverley. Years later it transpires that Beverley minster was a known sanctuary for criminals and they couldn't be touched within its bounds. Years more later I discovered that in one of the stories Little John claims to be from Holderness, which was a small village just outside of Hull and is now part of it, and that there were records of a criminalliving in the area, hunting deer, at the time called John Little. probably a common name though (always end with a reality check :))

Hi Albie, I worked in Hull just opposite Hammonds/House of Fraser for over a year. My ex-girlfriend's surname was Towle. My Godmother lived in Lucan (outside Dublin).
