It was an adventure stumbled on quite by accident but was to lead a group of Essex Questers on a trail of thirteen sites across Essex and it's surrounding counties. They were following the activities of a magical group constructing a sinister web. This was created by the laying of charged artifacts and the completeing of dark rituals. At best they felt this was selfish magic and at worst, corrupt, harmful and dangerous. Their quest was to battle the effects of the web and its implications and to re-dress the balance of the energies of the land.
